A free-floated barrel and bedded action ensure consistent performance, while the redesigned matte-blued action houses the crisp DLX Trigger, factory-set at 3.5 pounds with zero creep or overtravel. Built on the enhanced X-Bolt 2 receiver for smoother cycling, the rifle also uses Browning’s patented rotary magazine, which feeds from the center and protects bullet tips during recoil.
